I usually keep a metal dish scrubber on hand for my cast iron pans. Our last one fell apart last week, and I forgot to put a new one on the shopping list. oops!
Today I needed to scrub a pan. What to do? I remembered reading that some people make there own scrubbies out of orange and onion bags. I had an orange bag, so I used it.
I tied it in knots, and it worked great as a scrubbie!
The best part was I didn’t have to go to the store just so I could wash dishes. You know I can’t go in and just buy a scrubbie! lol

Love this! I use such bags for keeping tub toys in and, soemtimes, for bird feeders and bird nesting materials bags, but, eventually, they get too many holes for this purpose. But, with your tip, I can give them yet another life before actually trashing them. Thanks!

I love the way you used something you had instead of going to the store! And you used "trash" to do it!
