Saturday on the Farm

July 16, 2011 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

We have very spoiled chickens. I’ve shared pictures before of them at the front door waiting for food. They stand there looking in at us. I think they’re seeing if we’re eating anything good. lol They will even knock on the door by pecking it if we’re not paying any attention to them. It really surprises our guests. lol They will even eat out of our hands. Here’s Hannah feeding a hen bread.

Last week, I shared pictures of the cucumber blossoms. This week we have cucumbers!

Yum! Looks almost ready to eat! Now, I wonder who I’ll have to share it with? lol

Hope you enjoyed my little tour this week. How are your gardens growing?

Saturday on the Farm is a blog carnival that lets us share links to our blog post. It’s fun to visit each others farms.

To participate in Saturday on the Farm:

  • Write a post about your homestead, farm, farmette, or the tomato plant on your deck. Your cows, goats, chicken, or your favorite kitty cat.
  • Add the link to your post (not your main page) below.
  • Please link back to me so others can join the fun, too.

I’m ready to come over and have a salad with that cucumber!

The picture of Hannah feeding the chicken is awesome!

I don’t have a post to link up this week since I only recently found you site, but next week I may share a story from my childhood experiences visiting at my grandma’s house.

That sounds great. Hope to see it next week! 🙂

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
