Making a Home

It’s been a little slow around here this week. The cold we had just seems to be hanging on. Or maybe it’s allergies. Whatever it is, we sure will be glad when it’s gone!

We started canning the over 200 pounds of potates we were given last night. We did 7 quarts, but one didn’t seal properly, so I’ll reprocess that with today’s batch. I’ll share pictures of the potatoes last week.

I’ve also been working on a baby girl afghan. I just need to do the trim and I’m done.

What did you do last week to make your house a home?

  1. I didn’t realize you could can potatoes. But then, I haven’t canned anything ever before! I’d like to attempt it next year!
