Hello to all those participating in The Bible in 90 Days hosted by Mom’s Toolbox. I’m so excited to be your mentor for this session. I completed The Bible in 90 Days a couple of years ago, and have enjoyed being a mentor several times since then. Â I’m also excited that our group will be reading the chronological plan. I’ve never read the Bible chronologically before. So, yes, I’m going to be reading right along with you!
Below is the reading plan for day one. You can download and print a The Bible in 90 Days Chronological Plan bookmark to keep in your Bible. This bookmark has the first two weeks reading on it. I find it much easier to print out the bookmark to keep in my Bible, then to look up each days reading on the computer. It’s also a great motivator to see all the check marks for days completed.  🙂

I’ll be joining you for this journey. I’m excited, but most people have seemed pretty negative…like, “Good luck with that…” I pray I can ignore that and dive into this challenge.
Ginny says
What a bummer to hear all that negativity! Hopefully you’ll get some positive feedback here. I say, Good job! 🙂

Hi!
I’m glad to be here! I read the Bible in 90 Days with the group that started last July. (Yes, I finished on time.) I’m looking forward to reading it in a different order -although it will take a bit getting used to looking at the schedule to see where we are!
I am a SAHM of 2 kids, age 8 & 6. I will be homeschooling them starting next week. We also do foster care and usually have 3-4 foster kids living with us. Right now, we only have 1 – a 16YO boy. It’s soooo quiet around here. 🙂

Hi Dianne! It’s nice to meet you. How awesome that you completed the challenge last year! Yes, I found today’s reading to be a little challenging. I think I need more bookmarks! lol How great that your a foster mom! Have a great first week of the challenge and a great first week of homeschooling next week! 🙂

You guys, there was DUST on my bible. I didn’t think it had been that long. No wonder God called me to this challenge! I’m looking forward to it.

Hi Ginny, it’s nice to meet you! I think most Christians have had times in their lives when they’ve had dust on their Bibles. I know I have. The important thing is that we recognize it and get that dust off before it gets any deeper. I’m glad you’ve joined us for the challenge. I love how you jumped in to give support to our fellow reader above. 🙂 Have a GREAT first week!

Hi Vickie, nice to meet you! I’m so glad your joining us! There are two grace days built into the schedule. I like to save them for later, though. You might try reading a little extra every day and you’d be caught up in a few days. Either way, Have a great first week!

Thanking you for being a mentor for our journey. I read the 90 day plan a few years ago solo. So this time I am so excited to have others reading with me so we can glean from each other and discuss our readings. Thanks again.

Hey Guys! Checking in. It has been crazy times around here. Hubby has taken early retirement from his job effective Aug.31, and will starting his new job on Sept. 4th. It is major transition time in our lives. Down side he will be living in Arizona for 3-4 months. Upside I’ll have lots of time on my hands to read my Bible…in airports, in the apartment in Arizona and at home! I am reading chronologically this time. I have the suggested chronologic Bible on my Kindle, and it is a life saver. So far I’m halfway thru day 7. Will catch up tonight.
On a personal note, please be in prayer for my family as we make this trasition. Then next few months will be very interesting to say the least.
