I have lots of pictures to share this week. Enjoy!
The Mandevilla on the front porch is blooming. Beautiful!!
Saturday on the Farm – Garden Tour
This Apple Tree is loaded with apples. They’re ready, so we’ll be working in apples this week. Applesauce, apple jelly, apple butter…yum!
A cabbage in the vegetable garden
A very large tomato. We’ve eaten a couple of tomatoes so far, but not this huge.
A little yellow squash. We have a couple of these, and a couple of zucchini so far.
The pumpkin vine in front of the compost pile.
I found 4 pumpkins on it, there may be more, I didn’t search the whole thing. This is the largest one I found.
The basil in the backyard herb garden is doing well.
And last, but not least, a crawdad hole. We’ve had a wet summer, so instead of the crawdads staying by the creek, they are traveling all over the yard.
These freak me out! Every time I walk by one, I just know a snake is going to come out and wrap itself around my ankle! *screams* lol
What’s growing in your garden? And I hope it’s not snakes! lol

Your mandevilla is definitely farm size, they grow much smaller in an Ontario garden, and then become a houseplant.
I wish I hd the room to grow bigger vegetables but the farmers’ market takes care of our needs for what I don’t have in the small veggie garden.
That is creepy that crawdads make holes away from water, guess they have to evolve with the weather.

Lots of good things to eat at your place. Those snakes are as frightened of you as you them, just give them room to slither away.
