Zach found an activity in his English book that he wanted to do this week. He made 20 cut outs of his hands to make a game.
Then he wrote a word on each hand. To play the game, each player choose two hands, and tried to make a compound word. He had fun making and playing it.
This week was International Homeschool Spirit Week. We did activities for three of the days.
Monday was Homeschool in your Pajamas Day. No one wanted to have their face in the picture. lol Including me! But those gray legs are mine. lol
Tuesday was Homeschool Away from Home day. I took Zach out to the local pizza place for a little reading and a snack. He’s reading Jim Elliot, One Great Purpose on the Kindle for a review. Abby had band practice that night. So we went out after dropping her off. Band practice = Music.
Thursday was Volunteer Day. We’re having a big clothes giveaway on Saturday. Zach helped us start setting up. Setting up for a clothes giveaway is very tiring. lol
Abigail’s band went to sing at another church on Thursday night, so she got volunteer time in as well. Rising G6 is the name of their band.
The other day, I posted a review of The Presidential Game. A fun way to learn about the electoral vote. If you missed it, stop by and check it out.
And that’s our homeschool week in review. See you next week!

Looks like you had a fun week. I forgot all about the week of activities. Those onion rings look yummy and look huge! I like the game that your son made with his hand. Love the name of your daughters band!
