I didn’t do much out, apart from the usual meals, this week. I did make a double batch of granola bars for my daughter to take to her three day long state volleyball tournament.
I also made cupcakes for my oldest daughter’s (and 2nd child) birthday on Saturday. She turned 26. She was working at church that day, so I made her cupcakes and brought them to her. She was surprised. 🙂
Hannah is cooking again this week. She has already mastered the pizza crust and the sauce. So this week, she is going to learn how to make the homemade turkey sausage. Then finish the meal herself. And I get another night off. ahhhh…. lol
Friday, we have a volleyball banquet to go to. Each family brings food for a buffet. This years theme is Asian, no specific country. I have not made very many Asian dishes. I can make Lo Mein, and fried rice. Thankfully, I discovered Crockpot Mongolian Beef a few months ago. I’ve made it several times, and my family loves it. So that’s what I’m bringing.
This has me thinking it’s about time I started learning how to cook some other Asian dishes. My family does like Chinese. So I think I’ll start there. I love General Tso’s Chicken. So you might be seeing that on the menu in the next few weeks. lol
