At our cook out on Saturday night, my daughter tried a new kind of s’more. After having a traditional s’more, she came up with this.
She skipped the graham cracker, and went for all chocolate. lol
I had seen pictures on Facebook of Oreo S’mores. You twist open the Oreo, put on your toasted marshmallow, then put the cookie back together. I thought the kids would like it, so I bought some Oreo’s to try it. They didn’t like it! lol
My daughter, the same one that made the chocolate s’more, helped me harvest oregano on Friday. I put it in the dehydrator for a couple of hours at 120*. It dried quickly, and smells great. I had 3 trays of the dehydrator filled with thick layers. After pushing down in the jar a lot, I got all of it into a pint jar. It’s now sitting in one of my canning cabinets awaiting use. Yes, one of my canning cabinets has lace on the shelves! I cut down an old lace curtain to fit. And I love it!
I love growing and preserving my own herbs. now if the garden will just cooperate!
