Another week, another seven dinners. lol  Everything went pretty good in the kitchen this week. No disasters. lol Thanks to my menu, dinner prep went smoothly. I like calm weeks. lol

We had watermelon for a snack last night on the front porch.

Zach, 13, likes to have watermelon bowls. He always makes sure to tell anyone with a knife that he gets the end piece for a bowl. lol

I like to sprinkle salt on my watermelon. I hear some people put sugar on it. I like sugar and all, lol, but I’m not sure about putting it on watermelon.

How do you like your watermelon? Salted, with sugar, or plain?

 

Now…. to answer the question that I get asked about a hundred times a day……….What’s For Dinner?

Saturday – Sabbath- Make ahead meals- Chicken, turkey bacon, and ranch salads

Sunday – soup & sandwich day – BLT’s

Monday – chicken –  Baked chicken, baked potatoes, green beans

Tuesday – pizza/pasta – Homemade meatballs on homemade hoagie rolls, salad

Wednesday – beef – Tacos with all the fixings

Thursday – chicken – Chicken, potatoes and carrots in the slowcooker

Friday beef – Cookout – Hamburgers with all the fixings, potato salad
