I’ve been working on cleaning out my two freezers. By cleaning out, I mean eating the food. I’m doing this in anticipation of my husband getting a deer this hunting season. I hope he gets 3. He would like to turn one into jerky, while I care more about having a freezer full for meals.
One of the things we ate from the freezer last week was fish. I try to serve fish, I would like to have it once a week. My family doesn’t always agree with that, though.
In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu
This was the first time I made tilapia. I served it with homemade tarter sauce, oven fries, and fried corn. My family actually liked it. Well, except for one of my daughters that won’t eat any fish except canned tuna.
Last week, we decided to move appliances around. It needed to be done, and it had been raining for a week. So it ended up happening two days before we had my daughter’s birthday party. Not a good time to be moving and rearranging everything!
We haven’t had a dryer for 7 or 8 years. We just got a new to us dryer and in order to put it in the laundry room we had to: move the fridge that didn’t work out of the kitchen, and move the fridge that did work out of the laundry room and into the kitchen. Confused? Yep, me too. lol We pretty much had to move everything. Except for the cabinets attached to the walls.
I was even awesome and had my husband move the washer so I could clean out from under it. That way the whole laundry room was clean at once.
I’m glad all that moving is over. I do need to rearrange a few cabinets in my never ending attempt to fit more in. lol
