Spring has finally sprung here in Kentucky! I am so happy to be back in the garden again!
We had a very cold, as in arctic cold, winter, and ended it with lots of snow. Not as much snow as the northeast, but still a lot.
I only had one Crocus bloom so far this year. The bees sure did like this beautiful white flower.
In the Garden with Linda
The Crocus is in this Daffodil garden in my front yard. The Mini Daffodils are in the front, and the green in the back row is full size Daffodils. There is one lonely Tulip growing to the left of the post. You can barely see a little white of the Crocus below the Daffodil bunch on the left.
The Mini Daffodils are so little, and pretty.
I found these little white wildflowers growing in my front yard. So tiny, and so pretty.
Today, my husband and one of our sons worked on trimming the Butterfly Bushes in the front yard, as well as the Wild Roses growing in the front yard. I went out and turned one of the compost piles, then they put all these trimmings on top.
I started a tray of seedlings in newspaper starting pots about 2 weeks ago. I have some tiny little seedlings now. I planted broccoli, two kinds of tomatoes, and a few herbs.
I will be planting two kinds of peas in the garden this week. So exciting. lol
How about you? Have you started planning your garden yet?
