We had a pretty great week! I think this is our third week in a row where no one had a cold! It's so much easier to keep up our routines when the kids feel good. Since we've had one cold after another since October, it's been pretty rough. We're so ready for spring. We…
The last week has been really busy. In addition to our regular book work, we were getting ready for Purim. Here’s Zack working on his costume. We are back working at our church’s outreach center after taking a break while the church bought a new building. On Saturday, we worked at stocking the clothes closet at…
I found this really cool website where you can make your own Online Flashcards. You don’t have to print them out, you use them online. I’m going to use these for Bible Drill memorization.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time on the computer today, gearing up for our Olympics Unit Study. I do one for every Olympics. I just like the Olympics. I’m not athletic, I can’t actually do anything that they do. I just like to watch them. So I am sharing that with my children, and…
This was our assemble line to get all the card file drawers into the house. There were a LOT of them! This is our front door, btw. No front porch yet. Someday. sigh.
This week has been spent preparing for graduation! Calen and Hannah will both be graduating. Graduation is scheduled for June 29th. They only want family at the actual graduation. Hannah wants a party, but Calen doesn’t. Trying to coordinate two graduates wants in one graduation is…..interesting. lol Neither one of them wants to…
Very cool! Great idea for a mapstation, that must help him to focus! Love your site. We live in the city and with the school system the way it is, we will (well hopefully if we're blessed with a child) one day be homeschooling. Looks like a lot of fun!
Stopping by from the wrap up link. I love the work station– my boys are always getting distracted by each other. That might help. I like your project too!
I love the work station. My older kids have a desk with a wall just for pinning up charts. And I use a board for my younger one. I never have enough room!
Cardboard is perfect!
my kids have little workstations (we call them offices) made from file folders and they really help them focus.
I like your math station. 🙂
The narnia books are among our favorites. It's always bittersweet to come to the end of a great book.
