The Concert

I took Melissa to a concert on Wednesday night. We heard Jeremy Casella and Caedmons Call. Jeremy C. was really good! Caedmons Call was really good,too. I had heard some of their songs before, I just didn’t know it was them. LOL We met some friends there,A, AK and A’s Mom. All that could be heard from Mel, A, and AK was “giggle, giggle, snort snort!” ROFLOL The concert was VERY loud! Call me wierd, but I just don’t like drums reverbarating throughout my body! And don’t EVEN get me started on the screaming girls! Not the ones I was with, BTW, but the others! LOL You know your getting old when your at a concert and all you can think about is how you’d rather be home going to sleep! But I finally snapped out of it, and enjoyed myself! LOL After the concert we went to Taco Bell, carmel apple empanadas!!, where more giggling and snorting occured. LOL Since this was the 1st time I’d met A’s Mom, we had a nice chat. Couldn’t chat at the concert for obvious reasons. LOL So Mel and I had a good time. That was the second time in less than a week that we ate at Taco bell. A record! LOL

While we were at the concert, D called and said he got a message from Kenn that he had to take Betty Sue to the emergency room. She was in a LOT of pain, and he called an ambulance. So I was sitting in the concert holding my cell phone and checking it every couple of minutes for calls, the ringer was off, not that it made a difference couldn’t have heard it anyway. LOL They said they thought it was her gall bladder, and to call and set up an appt for an ultrasound.I haven’t heard when that is though.

My mother went to the cardiologist again today. She got the results from here tests. They showed she has had some heart attacks. And their is some damage to her heart. So she’s scheduled to a heart cath on the 22nd of this month to see if she has any blockages. See, she’s had the pain from the heart attacks going down her arm and up her neck, but she won’t go to the ER, she won’t even call one of her children and tell them until its over. sigh She lives across the street from me, but I don’t have a key to her house. I’ve been trying to tell her that SOMEONE should have a key, but she wouldn’t listen. But the cardiologist told her to make sure that someone has a key and can get to her. So she FINALLY is going to listen and have a key made for me. It’s about time!

Yesterday and today, I’ve been doing the housecleaning weeklies. I used to do some every day, then started doing it all in 1 day. Too much! I’ve been doing them all in 2 days. But I ‘ve now started doing them in 3 days Makes it easier to fit everything in without killing myself!

We’ve gotten a smidgen of schoolwork done since the election. Mostly election related stuff. We’ll be going back to regular work on Monday. The kids enjoyed our election studies, and I’m going to print them up some certificates for completing Homeschoolers for Bush 2004. I’m still designing them.

Oh, I exercised today! GO ME

I’ve got to get back to work. D’s brother is coming tonight with his 2 kids. One, Steph will stay here, The boys will stay next door. So I need to get my work done by supper time, cause I think I won’t be getting much done after. Bye
