The fashion show this morning was soooooo cute!  I have film pics, so can’t post any until I get them back. But I did have a couple of Calen on the digital, so I posted those below. I’ll try and take pics of their projects later. They did GREAT!  Calen won a red 2nd place ribbon for his  shorts, and Hannah won a red 2nd place ribbon for her poncho. They were thrilled to win ribbons!!!

The homemakers that worked with them were the BEST! They were so patient. And trusting! You have to be to hold the fabric while a the kid sticks the needle in, or puts the pedal to the medal while your holding their fabric in the machine! The kids learned a LOT, and my kids are so physced about sewing now! I have visions of  no mending pile waiting for me! I’ll just put Calen and Hannah to work! lol    G~, this was not in Laurel, but in my county.   🙂

While we were at the library yesterday (pics below, btw) I started feeling worse. I’ve had a cold since Monday. I crashed when we got home, and napped on the couch. Something I NEVER do! Then I got up and went to bed! I had Mel cook supper.  She made paghetti with meat sauce. The hamburger was already cooked in the freezer. Have I mentioned lately how much I love my freezer?  🙂  Anyway, Thankfully, I feeling much better today!

The kids want to go to the library again.  It’s the last day of story and craft time. Tomorrow is the party for the end of the reading program. So I guess I’ll get them ready to go.  Although the house is sinking fast from my being out so much. I’ll go round up some workers to pick up, then we’re off to the library.
