In an effort to be warm, and fill hungry children who want to snack all the time, I baked today.
I baked 29 banana muffins, 3 dozen oatmeal raisan cookies and 3 dozen peanut butter cookies. I also have a container of each kind of dough to put in the freezer.
Hopefully, the cookies last through tomorrow!
Tonight, for dinner, I threw together a nice Turkey Alfredo with turkey I had frozen last month. Nice, big chunks of turkey, to keep the meat eaters happy. lol
Over the weekend we tried a new dish. Fried Green Pepper Rings. A couple at church told us they made them, and since we like green peppers we knew when had to try them. I just made a quick batter to coat them in. Next time, though, I will use more seasoning in the batter….
I made lasagna last night. Here’s the top….. And here’s a piece…….. All I can say is yumm-O !The family made sure that there wasn’t any left for my lunch today!
