Catch Up

It turned out to be hot today! Melissa said it’s fall, or almost fall, and it shouldn’t be this hot! lol We attempted to go to the library today, but they were closed! There closed for the rest of the week! I’m not sure why, though. There wasn’t anything in the paper last week, maybe there will be in tonight’s paper. We also picked up Kenn and Betty Sue and took them to the store. Kenn so totally cracks me up! Keeps telling the kids not to mess his house up. “Mom do something, he touched the table!!” ROFLOL Makes me want to go over and mess it up on purpose. Pay back time! ROFLOL

School is going good! I made up a new schedule, and it’s working out great! Mel takes her work into her new room, and I only hear from her if she needs help with algebra. I check on her and get a “Whaddya want?” So I just wait until she comes to me.

She’s enjoy having her own room. And looking forward to having company this weekend in her new PRIVATE quarters! lol Me? I should be working, but don’t feel like it. So I’m on here. lol But supper is defrosting in the microwave so all I have to do is cut up some veggies. We’re having tacos. I did a mini hamburger session on Monday. 2 meals of tacos, 2 meals of sloppy joes, 1 pkg of cooked hamburger and onions for spaghetti, and a small package for pizza. Meat for 6 meals in just a couple of hours. Way to go Mom! lol

Hannah is practicing the piano now. She really loves it, and practices all the time. She’s actually looking forward to the recital in December. I thought she’d be nervous, but she can’t wait. Course, there’s plenty of time left to get nervous. But she’s been to six of Mel’s, so she knows what it’s like. I wish pianos had volume controls. sigh.

Well, it’s almost time for D to be home, so I guess I’m going to have to go work on those veggies. sigh.
