Blooming Flowers

The glads in the front garden are blooming this week. These are a really pretty salmon color.

The hibiscus blooms have started to open. I have three bushes. This is a flower on bush number 1:

And on bush number 2:

This is bush number 3:

The Passion Flower has several buds on it. I like this picture because of the single rain drop inside the bud.

The purple butterfly bush is in full bloom.

In this picture, I was standing my my back up against the front door of the house. The purple butterfly bush doesn’t look so big from here! The bush on the left is hibiscus bush number 3 from above.

Here’s another picture with my back up against the front door. The white butterfly bush is so big! My husband even gave it a big trimming earlier this year.

I don’t have mulch anywhere because of the chickens. I have big plans for the front yard. We are in the middle of adding on a front porch. The deck and 1 ramp are done. We have 1 ramp and the railings to do. Then I can work on the gardens.  🙂   Oh, yeah, I need to fix the chicken pen so the chickens can’t get out and get into my gardens!

  1. Very pretty plants blooming at your place. We have many of the same ones. I used to have glads (it is the August Birthday month flower) but haven't had them for years. I really miss them. Yours are gorgeous! Do you lift the bulbs each year?
