Not much going on here today. I’mve been doing housework, the dailies and also the weeklies in the kitchen, living room, dining room and school room. I have a few more things to do, though. I’ve finished 2 scrapbook pages. I helped the kids make cards, and made one myself. Today is my mothers birthday. We’re going to take her out to eat at a local restaurant tonight. Yep, even though we live in the boonies, we have a local restaurant! Actually, there a couple.

I looked out the window earlier, and saw a man coming up the stairs with a roll of paper towels. HUH?! He said “I have a gift for you. I have something I want to show you if you have a couple of seconds.” I said that’s all I have. Literally, a couple of seconds. “Why do you have to go somewhere?” Like I’m going to tell a stranger who just came to the door if I’m going out!! I said no, I have 5 kids here. lol He says “5 kids?” Now he must think I’m running a daycare. lol He said “Just come out and look.” He’s trying to get me to out to his van! There were some other people in it, too. Right, I don’t think so!!I asked him what he had, and he said “Kirby vacuum” I said nope, not interested, can’t afford it.” (This line works best if said while looking grungy from doing housework, while surrounded by little kids! LOL) “Here, do you want your paper towels back?” He took them and left. I should have said, No, but thanks for the paper towels! LOL Even if I was interested in a very expensive vacuum, which I’m not, I wouldn’t have bought from him. I didn’t like his sales technique. O well, guess they won’t be coming back here again! LOL Works for me! LOL Well, I’m off to finish the weeklies, and get everyone ready to go out to eat. Wonder which one will be harder?!
