Today is our 23rd wedding anniversary! Wow! 23 years!
I started the day by going shopping at Walmart at 8 a.m. (pic below) Home to quickly put the fridge stuff away and eat lunch. Then we were off to the county homecoming parade. For the last 2 years, some of our kids have been in the parade on our karate school’s float. But the school didn’t have one this year. So we just went to watch. And get candy. The kids got a LOT of candy! Granny went with us, and we picked up Kenn and Betty Sue to go also. We stopped and walked around the booths for a minute. That’s all it took. lol There weren’t very many. Then we took Kenn and Betty Sue home, and stayed for a few minutes. Then we came home to get ready to go out. D’s parents came over to bring us an anniversary card and some flowers. You know how I’ve been talking about my house being a pit? Well, at this point, it looked like a pit that Walmart had exploded in! Remember the groceries I didn’t finish putting away? ugh!
So we finally got on the road, and went out to eat at King Buffet. There weren’t any movies at the theatre we wanted to see, so we went to Walmart. lol We bought Passion of the Christ. D bought Hidalgo, and some other movie and a cd, and 2 cars (toys). I forget who the cd was. D just listened to 1 song. A car song that says “I can’t drive 55” or something to that effect. I KNOW he can’t drive 55, I don’t need a song to tell me that! lol Then we went for a drive. He said lets drive back through town and see whats going on. Remember it was homecoming, or nothing would have been going on. lol So He sorta drives by one corner of town, on his way to a car show. HUH?! How did I end up at a freaking car show on my anniversary?! sigh
