Wet Wednesday
It’s raining! And is going to continue for a couple of days! sigh Especially since Melissa’s appointment at Shriners is tomorrow. A 2 hr drive each way! sigh Right now I’m having my breakfast of 2 (yes 2!) vanilla muffins, yum, and a cup of tea. awww it just hits the spot on a rainy day!
Later I have to go to the drs office and pick up a copy of Mel’s records to bring tomorrow. Dis going to go by the hospital and pick up copies of the xrays. They are charging us $2 an xray! I asked “Even though they are going to another dr, you charge for them?!” She said “Yes, we make duplicates that you get to keep.” M had 4 xrays, so thats $8! I’m definitely keeping them for that price! I’ll just tell Shriners they can look, but can’t keep! lol According to the radiologist, there’s nothing on them anyway, but Shriners said bring them, so I am.
I also have to make sure the house is in order, and the meals are ready for tomorrow. We don’t have a babysitter, so D is taking the day off to stay home with the little ones. So I want everything ready for him. 🙂
I wish I had money to take Mel to a mall while we were in the neighborhood tomorrow. sigh But I don’t, and no use dwelling on it. We are planning on stopping in another town on the way back and seeing a friend of hers that works at Taco Bell. At least lunch won’t cost very much! …….Just talked to Mel about tomorrow, she said she’s going to get a Nachos Bel Grande. She likes to plan ahead! lol
I’m waiting for the kitchen floor to dry so I can start working in there. Empty the dw, reload, etc. exciting stuff. Calen wanted to make lemonade yesterday to bring to piano. He made lemonade alright! Somehow he get it all over the kitchen floor! I made he mop it up when we got back from piano, but it’s still sticky. I can’t STAND sticking to the kitchen floor! ugh!! So I made him mop it again after he ate his breakfast. I’m guessing that it’s going to need it again, too!
So a busy day, and an early night for me. We have to leave by 6:30 in the morning tomorrow. yawn. That means I have to get up by 5:30 so I can wake up. yawn. Prayers for traveling mercies, and that they find out what’s wrong with her knees, and how to treat her so she can’t get rid of the pain, greatly appreciated!
