I normally don’t decorate for Fall until November 1st. We don’t celebrate Halloween, so I don’t want people to think that my fall decorations are Halloween decorations. So I’m not sure why I’ve been in a Fall decorating mood this week, but I have been! I have a fall wreath on the front door, and a scarecrow on the back door. I have fall placemats out. I also pulled out my fall smelling candles.
Today I was roaming around the house looking for something fallish to use as a centerpiece for the dining room table. I found a low flat basket that I normally use in the kitchen, and 3 candles in glass jars. The large one is my favorite cinnamon candle.
Love the acorns!
Great idea. I love using what you have around (and saving money). Very creative and fun for the kids to get involved.
Love the acorn idea; so simple, but I never would have thought of it! It's perfect 🙂 I might add those to my cranberries that I plan on using for Thanksgiving's glass vase for our centerpiece. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love that! Hmmm where can we find some acorns around our house? hmmmm I am certain we can find something! 😀
I love candles and you are so right about them looking cold and unwelcoming if they haven't been lit before.
This is my first visit to your blog. I am really enjoying it!
Blessings to you!
Mary Joy
I like the simplicity of this idea. I pinned it so that I can remember it next fall.
