Making a Home

I tried to make a Gluten Free, white bean, banana bread this week. It didn’t work. It wasn’t a total waste, though, as the chickens loved it. lol I really don’t like having flops in the kitchen, but it’s inevitable I guess.

I found this great idea the other day at   BBQ Treats and Tips at The Parenting Connection . Fill Mason jars with ice cream, then put the jars into a bucket of ice and sever with a topping bar. Sprinkles, chocolate sauce, fruit, whipped cream. Doesn’t that sound like fun? A great way to get ready for a party ahead of time! Mason jars can go in the freezer, too, so you could even fill them the day before! My sons birthday is the end of this month and we’re having a family reunion the first week of August. This would be a great idea for either one!

While your here, don’t forget to enter my latest giveaway  Hens & Chicks Handmade Soap! Ends 7/12!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
