hmmmmm…….What did we do this week?
Oh, we had a house guest from Sunday night until Thursday morning. The kids kept up with their work, but we did just the basics. Nothing overly fun or blog worthy. We did put in extra time drilling 3 of the kids for Bible Drill. They have to memorize so much, and be able to find it so fast. Even after 4 years, I’m still amazed!
Hannah made Challah bread and Chocolate cake rolls in Home Ec today.
She used our favorite chocolate cake recipe and baked it on a cookie sheet (with sides! lol). She made homemade whipped cream. She spread the cake with the whipped cream and rolled it up. I think she did a great job for her first time. Making a cake roll is hard!
I can’t eat the cake, but the whipped cream was delicious! Great job Hannah!
I posted another review for The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Crew this week. This time I reviewed Creek Edge Press Task Cards. This was the first time I had used these cards, and I loved them. So go check out my review. 🙂 Have you ever used these task cards before?
