The Bible in 90 Days – Week Four

September 9, 2012 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy 20 Comments

It’s time for our Week Four Check-in!

I know I said last week I would be caught up. I was mistaken. lol I’m still behind, but still reading!

I always find the weekends harder to get all my reading done.

How’s everyone doing?

Don’t forget the Bible in 90 Days Twitter Party! ย To make keeping up with the party easier, they’ve started a TweetGrid for the parties. Here’s the link:

http://tweetgrid.com/grid?l=2&q1=%23B90days&q2=From%3AMomsToolBox+OR+From%3AJulieDutch&q3=TO%3A_YourUserName&htag=B90Days

You can follow all the posts with the #B90Days tag.

You Are Here in the Bible (Ted Cooper of the Bible in 90 Days Ministry created You are Here in the Bible to help Bible in 90 Days readers get a snapshot of most of the books of the Bible as they were reading. His aim was to keep readers reading and not researching, therefore preserving more time for reading the entire Bible.ย  This link takes you to page of links to each of his entries.) These You Are Here in the Bible pages are great for yourself, or to do together as a family.

Ok, it’s time to leave a comment below with your progress.

God bless you in your journey to read The Bible in 90 Days!

I am plugging along. Mostly up to date.

After looking at next week’s schedule, I broke down and bought the Chronological Bible. I am getting used to the language change, as I’m used to reading a NIV version.

I am really enjoying reading this way. It gives a whole new meaning to God’s Word.

Hope everyone else is doing well, and have a great week!

Ginny, it’s good to hear your mostly up to date. Your right, it does take time to adjust to different versions of the Bible. I don’t have a Chronological Bible, I’m just flipping. lol Are you liking it?
Keep up the good work, Ginny! God Bless and have a great week!

You can do this Vickie! You can still get caught up! Really. Read 1 1/2 to 2 days worth everyday and you’ll catch up. You don’t have to do it all in one sitting. Spread it out over the day if it works better for you. I know some people even have a Bible on their smart phone so they can read what they can where ever they are. I don’t have one of those. lol But maybe you do. ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m so glad for you that your loving reading the Bible like this. Please don’t give up yet. Keep trying! ๐Ÿ™‚
God Bless and have a great week!

Hi Bess! We all go through busy times like that, when fitting anything in is hard, never mind a huge task such as this. Just keep reading what you can when you can, and you’ll get caught up!
God Bless and have a great week!

I really struggle with weekend reading, too, Julie. As in not being able to get much of any done. ๐Ÿ™ That’s ok, we can read extra the other days to make up for it! You’ll get caught up, just keep reading! ๐Ÿ™‚

God Bless and have a great week!

Sue, I’m sorry reading is difficult for you. I’ll pray for you that it gets easier for you. The important thing is ready God’s word. Not the length of time it takes. Keep trying, though! It feels amazing to finish in the 90 days. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Keziah! I’m still playing catch up, too. We can do this! A lot of people don’t like to read the Old Testament, but it’s full of examples how God loves and blesses His people even though they aren’t perfect. A great lesson for all. Thanks for pointing that out. ๐Ÿ™‚
God Bless and have a great week!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
