After running Zach back and forth to archery camp last week, it has been quiet here this week. Well, as quiet as a house with four teenagers, 2 dogs, 10 cats, and 2 parents trying to hold it all together, can be! lol
On Sunday, the 3 youngest kids, 18, 15, & 13, took Dad out to eat for Father’s Day. We went to the local Mexican restaurant. Great food, and great family time.
Tuesday found us in the dentist office for 3 of the kids. After spending a couple of hours there, they came out with whiter and healthier teeth. Can you tell Zach was thrilled to be there? And he only got a cleaning! lol
Friday, Abby went to the local pool with her bff. Shortly after getting dropped off by the friend’s mother, she called me to say that they closed the pool due to the weather forecast. So I picked them up and they came home and went in our pool. It would have been a lot easier if they just stayed here. lol
Abby and a cousin were in our pool the other night and asked me to take a picture of their waterfall. I did better than that, I took a video!
I got those squirt toys at Dollar Tree. You know, for a dollar. lol You put the end in water, pull back on it, and it fills with water. Then you push the end in to squirt it out. The teens have been having a blast with them. Very frugal entertainment for teenagers! lol
Zach has been continuing working in Khan math. He still likes it, so I’m glad. He’s also still working on his American history, a Huckleberry Finn study, and a health study. Review for the Huckleberry Finn and health studies coming soon!
Abby is working on Khan Geometry, and finishing some science labs. It’s time to get her some more subjects to work on!
And that’s our homeschool week in review!
