This new documentary, Americans With No Address, investigates the homeless crisis in America and captures the untold stories of those experiencing homelessness while at the same time trying to find answers to the problem.

Americans With No Address
“This Documentary came about first to ensure the accuracy of the “No Address” feature film. Our production team toured the country for several weeks, visiting and filming interviews in 20 major cities across 18 states facing various rates of homelessness and interviewed over 175 people. Those interviews inspired the documentary “Americans With No Address,” which captures the essence of what is causing the homeless crisis and portrays what solutions have been implemented and proven to show positive changes.”
“In the making of this documentary, the team witnessed firsthand the unbreakable spirit that thrives in the face of adversity. It deepened our understanding of homelessness and its complexities.”

“The Americans With No Address team is on a mission to raise awareness and offer solutions to homelessness in America. Through a comprehensive five-production approach, including the documentary “Americans With No Address” and the feature film “No Address,” which will be coming to theaters nationwide on February 28th, we aim to break the cycle of homelessness. These two films are part of a broader effort to build empathy and compassion for those experiencing homelessness. In addition to these powerful films, we have the novelization of the award-winning screenplay, a soundtrack, and an interactive study guide that guides people who want to be part of the solution in their own community.”
Americans With No Address Review
Americans With No Address shows real Americans that are homeless, and tells their story. In showing their stories, we see some of the problems that governments make in dealing with the homelessness crisis.
For example, I was shocked to see what is happening in San Francisco. The city is paying for “safe” places for people to do drugs. A fenced in area where the homeless can go and be furnished needles, foil, & straws for use with illegal drugs. Supervised consumption sites. Right there behind a temporary fence, on the city streets.
Currently it is easy to get high, and hard to get treatment.
It should be hard to get high, and easy to get treatment.

The homelessness problem in this country is heartbreaking. This year more than one third of Americans will have a family member or friend experience homelessness. I have family members, and others that I know, that have experienced homelessness. Truly heartbreaking. Due to circumstances, ours and theirs, we may not be able to help meet their needs. I find it surprising that the largest growing segment of homelessness is those over 50.
We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. the poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty.

I love that this documentary shows several non-profits and organizations across the country that are providing resources and services to those experiencing homelessness with proven successful outcomes. Helping them get their paperwork again, i.e. birth certificates and drivers licenses, physical & mental health care, help getting a job, etc. This is what we need more of.

How Can You Help?
Firstly, watch this documentary. I highly recommend it! Then connect with one of the these organizations in your area. Most importantly, since the homeless often feel invisible, one interaction can can make a world if difference. Also, we need to make sure we are seeing the human side of the homeless.

This would be interesting to see.
Because it would be good to get a closer look on the problem to see how I might be able to help.
This is such an important topic. Wish we had better answers.
To learn about the expenses that causes not youth but older adults to be without is just horrible. I would love to learn why these things happen and how to resolve it.
It’s a very, interesting topic that needs to be talked about and I would like to watch it.
I want to see this film because it looks really moving. I think everyone needs to watch this film. Housing in my area is not affordable at all.
