Etched Upon My Heart

Etched….Upon My Heart   What We Learn and Why We Never Forget is an extremely touching book full of all the moments that have made up the author’s life. Jill Kelly is very open in telling her story, including the death of her precious son. She wrote Etched…..Upon My Heart for her daughters, to help remember and never forget God’s grace in their lives.

The book is divided into eight chapters – love, significance, forgiveness, suffering, giving, prayer, faithfulness, and death.

Each of the chapters ends with a bullet point list of What to Remember and Never Forget, a Prayer, and Truths to Etch Upon Your Heart which include Bible verses. These sections will help you take what you learned in each chapter and apply it to your heart and your life. While Etched….Upon My Heart is about Jill Kelly’s life, there is much to be learned about our lives while reading it.

  1. I would like to read this book because I am very interested in others’ lives. To hear that other people have gone through tragic things and made it out onto the other side gives me a lot of hope after what I have been through.
