Doctor’s and Junk
I took Melissa to the dr again this afternoon. Her knees are getting steadily worse. She can hardly walk no. She limps along in pain. 🙁 We got the dr that wouldn’t listen to us last time. He was much better this time. But Melissa said she still doesn’t like him, and doesn’t want to see him anymore. Apparently, she holds grudges against doctors. Anyway, He had more blood drawn to check for rheumatoid arthritis again. He said it was possible for her to have it, and it just didn’t show up the first time. And he finally ordered x-rays. I was prepared to DEMAND them today, but didn’t have to. 🙂 He asked if she had had a sore throat this year. She said yes. He said that it was possible that it was strep and that it has spread and that’s what causing the joint pain, as well as her other symptoms. But she didn’t have strep. She just had a sore throat with a cold, like everyone else, that lasted 3 days. So we are still in the wait and see mode, but at least we’re making progress. We’re going to go to the hospital tonight after supper and get the x-rays done.
On the home front, everything is status quo. School is ok, house isn’t a total pit. Can’t ask for much more than that! The chicken is sizzling away in the oven, and I need to go work on the sides. Hopefully I’ll be home in time tonight to watch Everybody Loves Raymond. I love that show! I want to get the 1st season on DVD. Now if I just had some extra money laying around somewhere! lol Well, I’m off to work on supper………
