When Calls the Heart The Dance DVD Review & Giveaway

I recently received a When Calls the Heart – The Dance DVD to review. When Calls the Heart – The Dance is a feature length film from the first two episodes of the When Calls the Heart television series on the Hallmark Channel. When Call the Heart is based on the books by Janette Oke and directed by Michael Landon, Jr.,

When Calls the Heart The Dance

In When Calls the Heart – The Dance, new miners arrive in Coal Valley to help with the final stages of reopening the mine and the town decides to celebrate with a dance at the end of the week. One of the new miners, Billy Hamilton has taken a special interest in Elizabeth and she is flattered by the attention. Meanwhile, pregnant widow Carla Noonan has moved in with Abigail and Elizabeth so the women can keep and eye on her for the remainder of her pregnancy. As Elizabeth and Billy’s relationship develops, Jack becomes suspicious of Billy’s motives for pursuing Elizabeth so persistently.

Another new miner takes an interest in the mother of one of Elizabeth’s students. Caleb does not want his mother to see the miner.  So he acts out and does everything he can think of to keep them apart.

There is also a thief in town. There always has to be something to keep the Mountie busy. lol In the end, Elizabeth helps catch a thief, Caleb invites the miner to diner, and twins are born!

I’ve reviewed several other When Calls the Heart dvds.

When Calls the Heart, the first television movie, before they turned it into a series.  When Calls the Heart – A Telling Silence and When Calls the Heart – Lost and Found contain episodes of the television series.

Check them out. They are all great, family movies!
