Rainy Saturday
Its raining out. sigh Hopefully it will stop by the time I go shopping. It’s pretty miserable to stand out in the rain and load groceries in the van. D and the kids usually unload, but I often help also. It’s a long walk up our sidewalk from the driveway to the house, seems even longer when it’s raining. Ok, enough complaining. We need the rain.
We went to the baby shower, and had a good time. I won Baby Bingo! lol My prize was a picture frame and a blueberry candle. I gave the frame to Melissa. My mother won one of the other games, and got a photo album,frame combo thing and a candle. My niece Rayla, who we picked up on the way, got the winning paper plate, a won a glass candy dish. She was going to take it home and give it to her mom. so sweet! They didn’t have those little mints, lol, but the food was good. And I had 2, yes, TWO brownies! And chips and dip. Bad Linda! And my migraine that I had all day finally went away while we were at the shower. YEAH! AND we didn’t see the bear when we got in. I called D on the cell, “I’m in the driveway, come and get me!” lol Yes he walked out to the driveway to keep the bear from attacking me! Before you go thinking how sweet he is, he teased me all the way back to the house! lol
Today, I’m going to Walmart, and cleaning house. sigh I didn’t get the weeklies done yesterday, so they have to be done today to get ready for A’s party. Have to have the kids find the floor first. Well, ok, it’s not quite THAT bad! But there are definitely spots where the floor ISN’T showing! I have to make A’s cake, and finish her pinata. sigh That’s a lotta work!
