Catch Up

Let’s see…. Friday I got all my errands done. Well, except I forgot to stop at the Christian Book Store and pick up concert tickets. Then We ate at Taco Bell. Geannie and her boys met us there. It was fun to eat out with them, but time went by too fast!

Saturday, I got up and did the housework I didn’t do on Friday, baked and decorated Calen’s birthday cake, LOTR, I’ll post a pic later. He had fun at his party.

That night we cooked packet meals on the campfire. It was the 7 of us, Kenn and Betty Sue, Grandma and Grandpa, Granny, my nephew Colton, and a teenage family friend in from Ohio, Steven. 14! We didn’t make s’mores this time, just roasted marshmallows.

Sunday, we just kind of hung out. We did fix the hay manger in the barn. In an attempt to keep CeCe’s head from getting stuck! So far, so good! D and the little kids worked on models, getting ready for the show in about a week and a half. I’m not going to make one this year. It is nice, when the whole family is entered, but what little spare time I do have, I’d rather devote to something besides cars!

Monday, yesterday, we picked up Kenn and Betty Sue, and went to the library, the cheap grocery store, the dollar store, but not one of those all for a $ store. We got home in time to put everything away, feed the animals, and cook supper. Oh, Granny went with us, so it was MUCH more stressful.

Today, the only thing on the schedule, is going to vote. Piano is cancelled today, because of the election. Fine with me. But I do have the usual housework, etc.
