Super Savings Saturday – Saved $34.68 in Coupons
Lots of freebies at Walmart again this week. gotta love it! The baby cereal was bought with a b1g1f coupon. Those are both to give away to a food pantry. I will also give away the Cascade rinse aid. I don’t have a dishwasher! lol So Mel will get that.
I forgot to put the pudding below in the 1st picture because it was in the fridge. And when I remembered it, the other stuff was already put away. lol
I got the free coupon for the pudding in the mail from Kraft First Taste. If you haven’t signed up with them, you should. This is the 3rd or 4th coupon I’ve gotten from them for a free item.
Well, as you can see, I did manage to find a few items at Kmart. But I didn’t do nearly as well as the last time I went to their double coupon days. I was disappointed. I think their prices went up since last time. Maybe I didn’t have as many high dollar coupons as last time, either. Whatever it was, the deals just weren’t there this time. I paid 49 cents for each tube of toothpaste, they are large tubes, and 29 cents for each deodorant.
I went to CVS twice this week, and they didn’t have any of the sale/ECB items either time! frustrating! The store was in the middle of a massive remodel, rearranging the whole store, new front counters, everything, so I guess I’ll cut them some slack, this week. lol
I did a little better at Walgreens, they didn’t have the Fusion Razor for the Register Rewards, and they were out of items that they had store coupons for. I did manage to find two of the monthly free after rebate items, pictured above. I didn’t have any coupons for them, grr…., so I didn’t make any money on them, but will get them for free. I will be going to Walgreens.com shortly, and entering my receipt and gift card number. I should have the money on the gift card for next weeks shopping. 🙂
In all my stops, I spent $112.50.
I’ll get $6.87 back from Walgreens.
I spent $8.87 on food to donate.
So that brings my total for groceries for our family to $96.76 (including tax)
