Let’s face it, at some point your going to need to buy some over the counter medicines.
Especially if you have kids.
They are always going to be bumping and bruising themselves, and fevers are common place amoungst kids.
Of course, we are using coupons, watching sales and shopping at CVS and Walgreens to get these items for the least amount possible.
I have discovered that buying some items at our local pharmacy is often cheaper than store brands at CVS, Walgreens and Walmart.
Today, while I was at the doctors office, I bought some more acetaminophen at the pharmacy there. A generic 4 ounce bottle of liquid acetaminophen for $1.24.
Much cheaper than other store brands, and cheaper than name brands with coupons.
I noticed this at another pharmacy in the next town, also. I have also noticed it on other over the counter items, like anti-biotic ointment.
So the next time your in your local pharmacy, check their prices. You might discover that it will actually save you money to shop there.
