What’s For Dinner?

May 17, 2010 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy 1 Comment

Well, I tried to have an assigned leftover night. How come, when I don’t plan a night for leftovers, we have lots? I start planning a leftover night, and suddenly, there are no leftovers!

So I’m going back to no planned leftover night.

We ended up not having a fire on Friday night. When I planned the menu, I forgot that that was the night of the Mother’s Day Tea at church. The guys had left overs, while the girls ate at the tea.

Now for this weeks menu:

Saturday – beef – Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad

Sunday – sandwich day – Bean & Cheese burritos, salad

Monday – chicken – Chicken wings, baked potatoes, salad

Tuesday – beef – Chili Beef and Cabbage

Wednesday – super simple – fish filets, rice, salad

Thursday – chicken – Chicken Potato Pie from the The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook (amazon.com link)

Friday – Friday Night Fire – hmmm..since we’re having people over for a cookout tomorrow, we probably won’t have a fire tonight. If there’s leftovers, we’ll have that, otherwise, we’ll have breakfast for supper.

HI Linda! Thanks for following my blog this weekend! Feel free to comment often! I love hearing from the gals who read my blog. I'm following your blog too.

That's too funny about the leftovers… and so true!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
