I’m thinking of doing away with leftover night. We never seem to have enough leftovers to make up a whole meal! I’m think of making Wednesdays Super Simple Kids Cook Night. Sounds good to me. lol So I’m trying to think of a list of things for them to make.
Usually when I put my kids in charge of cooking they want to make all their favorite elaborate meals. Maybe I’ll just make it soup and sandwich night. Of course, that means I have to have the homemade soup ready in the freezer. Would be worth it for a night off, though! Or crockpot meals only on Wednesday. hmmmmmm…….
Any ideas?
Saturday – Sabbath- Make ahead meals- Guys had dinner at church, girls had take out pizza and salad
Sunday – soup & sandwich day – Baked chicken, mashed potatoes
Monday – chicken – Homemade chili (from freezer), Homemade cornbread (Homemade gluten free cornbread for me)
Tuesday – pizza/pasta – Homemade Sausage, green pepper and onion pizza, carrot sticks
Wednesday – super simple – left overs
Thursday – beef – Spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, green beans
Friday – Sabbath Dinner – Roast turkey, potatoes, corn
