I try to cook healthy meals for my family. I share my weekly dinner menu here every Monday. I cook supper for seven people every night, yes, seven! lol Among those seven, one is on a low sodium diet, one is a diabetic, and one can’t eat wheat. Heart disease also runs in the family. So cooking heart healthy meals is important to me, too.
Cooking for that many people, with such diverse needs, can be challenging. Which is why I’m always searching for new recipes to try. Here are five recipes from Campbell’s Soup that I am looking forward to trying. All approved by the American Heart Association.
Pizza Primavera with Cauliflower Crust – I have tried making a cauliflower crust before, and it was good. These toppings also look yummy.
Turkey Meatloaf– If you read my weekly menus, you know that I cook a lot with turkey. Can you believe I have never made a turkey meatloaf before? This is definitely on my list of recipes to try.
Talipia and Vegetable Casserole – Fish is something that I like my family to eat often. They don’t like just plain fish very much, though. This casserole looks like a good compromise, that everyone will love.
Creamy Turkey and Vegetable Lasagna– This recipe looks like a nice option for lasagna without the red meat and cheese. I like that I’ll be able to use diced meat from a turkey I baked myself in the recipe.
Creamy Chicken & Vegetables over Spaghetti Squash – I think this recipe looks like it will be a family favorite. Whether served over spaghetti squash, or over spaghetti for those that can have it
