In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

I’m still working away in my little oven less kitchen. The kids are getting more impatient about getting a new stove than I am. They want to make cookies! lol

We have gotten pizza from the local pizza place a couple of times since the oven broke and we couldn’t make our own. While it is convenient, and easy, it is also much more expensive. And frankly, not as good as homemade.

I will be happy when life slows down and I can go get a new stove!

On April first, you know, April Fools Day, I tricked my kids. I served them brownies for a snack. Get it? Brown E’s. hahahahaha For some reason, they didn’t think it was as funny as I did! lol

While we take my father in law supper every night, he gets his own breakfast and lunch. He has taken a liking to making pancakes. He uses a mix that you just add water to. Well, last week, my husband bought him the wrong kind. He got him the mix that you have to add milk and eggs to. So he asked me to make them for him. So I made a big batch of pancakes for his freezer. Now he can just pull out how many he wants and heat them up in the microwave.
