I took the week off from menu planning last week. Which means it was a tough week in the kitchen! Menu planning really does take the stress out of feeding my family. It’s definitely worth the few minutes a week to come up with a plan. Life goes so much smoother!

I don’t have any pictures to share from my kitchen last week. I do have a one from last night to share, though. My family took me out to eat at Cracker Barrel for Mother’s Day. We haven’t been there to eat in several years. It was very good, and I brought home half the chicken and half the mashed potatoes. I ate those for lunch today. yum.

When I went to my oldest daughters house for a cookout, she used Weber Grill Seasoning Zesty Lemon on the chicken before grilling. I liked it so much, I bought some. I’ve used it on salmon, chicken baked in the oven, and this week, I’m using it on chicken in the slow cooker. It’s very good. All my family likes it, too, so that’s a plus.

I’m making my Sweet and Sour Chicken in the slow cooker again this week. I think I have the recipe finished, so hopefully I’ll be sharing it next week!

If you missed my Homemade Bean Soup Mix, stop by and check it out. You can eat it, or use it for decoration!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
