Jord Wooden Watch Review & Giveaway

I recently received a Jord  Wooden Watch to review. Jord is a St. Louis, Missouri company that designs and produces real wood watches from sustainable materials from all around the world.  They have  concentrated on mostly male and unisex designs so far but we have several women’s series in the works.

The wooden watch that I received is a beautiful watch. And so comfortable!

I chose to receive the Fieldcrest- Maple watch. It is a mid-size watch, and works well for both men and women. The watch comes packaged beautifully, making it perfect for gift giving. This wooden box was wrapped in bubble wrap inside the shipping box.  I may have let outsome ohs and ahs when I unwrapped this box.

 

 

And then I opened the wooden box. My kids didn’t understand why I was so excited over a wooden box with a watch in it. It truly is oh and ah worthy.

 

The watch comes packed with it’s own little pillow, and a cute little wooden hang tag.

 

 

I have to say that I was thoroughly amazed by how light and smooth the wood is. When I showed this watch to my husband and told him that it was made of wood, he said, “This is wood?!” He loves everything that is made from wood, and has worked with wood in the past. He, too, is amazed at how smooth the wood is.

I put the watch on right away, and my whole family thought it looked great on.

 

My daughter wore it and thought it was very comfortable.

 

My oldest son fell in love with this watch the first time he saw it. He wanted a turn wearing it, and gladly posed for a picture so he could wear it longer. He has asked me several times how much I wanted for it. I told him it’s not for sale. He loves the watch even more than I do. Shhh….don’t tell him, but I’m going to give him the watch for his birthday next month. shhhhhh……. It is going to be hard to give it up, though.

 

My husband had a turn wearing the watch as well. The clasp on the watch opens extra wide so it fits easily over his big hands. I like that this watch can be worn with casual or dressy clothes, and looks very nice with both.

 

As you can see, the Jord Fieldcrest- Maple wooden watch looks equally well on women and men of all ages.
