In the Kitchen with Linda & Dinner Menu

Last week, I baked 5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast using this Zesty Lemon Seasoning. We ate some for supper that night, I put some in the freezer, and I used some in Chicken Alfredo. The seasoning added another level of flavor, and was so good.

I was hoping to have my new pantry finished by now. We are making progress, though. We got the contents, including the shelving system, moved into our bedroom, where we are making a whole wall of closets. My husband moved the plug that was on the wall he removed for the new door into the new pantry. Since I took this picture, he also moved the light switch onto the wall to the left of the door in this picture. The wooden cabinet will be staying there, it’s full of home canned fruits.

And, I ordered the wood for the shelves! I was thinking about using coated metal shelves. I got a price from a local wood mill for the shelves, and I will be spending about half as much!  So I’m going with wood shelves. I can hardly wait!! lol
