We went to get 3 new goats last night! I started getting sick before we left though. 🙁 By the time we got them home, and in the barn, it was after 10! It was 11:3 before I got to bed, then I got up at 6:20 this morning. And have felt ill since then! I managed to leave for Walmart a few minutes after 8, when I wanted to leave. It took forever at Walmart, trying to decided on a birthday gift for my mother, her birthday’s today, and Fathers Day gift for dfil and dh. sigh But we finally got those picked out. (Granny loved her plant and plant stand 🙂 , don’t know about the FD gifts yet!) We got home a few minutes after 11, rushed to put the fridge stuff away, then kidnapped D. Since Sunday is going to be so busy, we decided to take him out to eat for FD today instead. Except we didn’t tell him. We were getting ready to go, and he came in and said he was going to go get some gas for the lawnmower. I said ok, why don’t we all go? Kids do you want to go to the gas station? lol So we got in the van, and I got the drivers seat before D got to the van. lol We drove right by the gas station. lol Then he didn’t know what was going on. lol But he enjoyed his dinner out at King Buffet, his favorite restaurant. Then we came home, after getting gas for the lawnmower. lol) We spent an hour or so out in the goat pen holding the new kids. sooooo cute! I came in and crashed on the couch, instead of working. Not good, since I invited Granny and my brother over for a cookout (and cake and ice cream)! I felt so bad! When we came in after eating, I took my temp and it was 101.7. But I managed to stay up and help Hannah finish sewing her dress, it was almost 10:30 when she finished! sigh Then I had to braid her hair in numerous small braids. sigh It was almost 11:30 before I got to bed! Oh, Hannah HAD to finish her dress tonight, she HAS to wear it for her piano recital tomorrow! Mel, Calen and H are all playing! I’ll post pics later!
