Sunday night, I looked at the calendar and realized that this week was Sabbath Week for us! The kids were very happy! I have to say I was happy, too!
We’ve had a nice, peaceful Sabbath Week.
We worked in the gardens some. Some worked on crafts and computers. And they’ve had lots of playtime with cousins.
Last Sunday, Hannah and Zachary had their Church Bible Drill Competitions. There was one other little boy in Zacks drill. I felt so sorry for Zack. He froze. đ Â After a few questions, he pulled it together and finished great. He scored high enough to go on to the Association Drill. I told him I was so proud of him for not running off the stage. For staying and fighting through it, to pull it together with a strong finish. A lot of kids wouldn’t have stayed and tried. They would have ran off the stage. A lot of adults would have, too! He’s an awesome kid!
Hannah was the only one competing in the Church Drill in the High School age group. She received a perfect score. Which is even harder to achieve when you’re the only one. You have to answer everything single question yourself, quote all the verses yourself. And the high school level has to memorize long passages. I’m so proud of her for all the hard work she put into Bible Drill this year. Â Her Association Drill is this Sunday. Go Hannah!

I just found out that Hannah is writing posts for The Sewing Corner. Awesome post, Hannah! She even won this weeks Featured Blog Post award from The Homeschool Blogger Community Blog, On The Company Porch!
