S’more Parfaits

September 1, 2010 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy 14 Comments

I found a recipe for S’more Parfaits and the kids thought it sounded great.

Ok, so did I!

So we bought the supplies and made them.

All you need is chocolate pudding, graham crackers, mini marshmallows, and mini chocolate chips. You can make the pudding yourself, from scratch or using a mix like I did. You could even use the little pudding cups. That would definitely help with portion control. My kids think if it’s there, they should eat it. lol

Then you start layering. Graham crackers, pudding, marshmallows, and chocolate chips.
Keep repeating the layers until your cups are full.

We used plastic cups for the kids snacks. ย Serve immediately. I found the graham crackers & marshmallows got mushy when we waited to eat them.

This is a fun snack or dessert for the kids to make themselves. What kid wouldn’t love to make this for an after school snack? My kids would love to make them these anytime!

Thank you for following ๐Ÿ™‚ I've returned the favor to both the website and Twitter. It's very nice to meet you neighbor :)… I'm also from Kentucky, South Central (Glendale area, just south of Elizabethtown which is about 45 minutes south of Louisville).

Oh my goodness six kids in addition to furry kids! I couldn't imagine!! I grew up on a farm, my parents still have a zoo of animals; so all in all I've grew up with the goats getting out and eating my mothers flowers and flowering trees ๐Ÿ™‚ My father is currently getting up in age, as is my mother, they have gave up everything but refuse to give up their brood of free range chickens (which I am terrified of, happens when you're flogged enough times lol!) and they sell eggs to supply the local organic co-ops here in my area. Of course, they have the stray pig or cow so they can put it up for winter in the freezer. So it's great meeting you.. I love meeting others from Kentucky but I don't meet that many who raise animals.

A lot of people look at my name/header and see "oh that rich girl from Hollywood". I suppose I'm "that Hollywood 'Dreaming' girl that grew up pulling calfs who knows how to live off the land and trust in God to provide.." Really put's a lot into perspective. Okay sorry for the rambling. These s'mores looked really good.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
