We are still on summer break. We did, however start out unit study of the United Kingdom. We also started an Olympics lapbook. I love using the Olympics for homeschooling. I have ever since we started homeschooling in 1991. So that means out first Olympics was 1992. We study countries, geography, sports science and all the different sports. The last winter Olympics, we discovered that we really liked watching curling. So we never know what’s going to hold our attention.
I’ll link to what we using for our studies in my upcoming Homeschooling with the Olympics post.
The highlight of the week for Hannah was getting her drivers permit. She drove for 10 minutes today……inn a parking lot. lol
This dress she’s wearing is the one I was talking about last week. She turned this long skirt into a dress and designed the little jacket herself. She even sewed it all by hand! She’s awesome. 🙂

The Olympics is an interesting subject to teach. She did a good job on sewing the skirt into a dress.
