Coming Home for Christmas DVD Review & Giveaway

November 22, 2013 by Linda @ Linda's Lunacy

I recently received the DVD Coming Home For Christmas to review. This is a great Christmas movie for the whole family to watch together.

After their parents separate, two sisters that haven’t spoken in five years reunite. Once they are speaking again, they decide it would be great if they can get the whole family together for Christmas in their old house. The house that is now owned by someone else.

One sister meets the new owner, while she is swinging on her old swing set in the backyard without permission. She apologizes and runs away. While taking the families clock in to be repaired, she again meets the new owner of the house.  After visiting his shop a few times, she tells him her plan, and he actually agrees to host the family for Christmas. He even kept the families Christmas decorations that were left in the attic when he bought the house.

Thanks to his kindness, the whole family is able to be together at the old house for Christmas. And are joined by some new family, as well.

My favorite quote from the movie is, “Friends should be family and family should be friends”.  That is so very true! The movie really stresses how important family is.  Coming Home for Christmas is a very heartwarming movie that my whole family enjoyed. I plan on watching it again as it gets closer to Christmas. Coming Home for Christmas will be a great addition to our families collection of Christmas movies that we watch together every year.
