This week I thought I’d share pictures of some of the flowers I have blooming now. Some I planted, some are wild!
Saturday on the Farm – Flowers
These first three flowers I bought at the local greenhouse last month.
An Angel Wing Begonia. I bought three of these, one this color and two red. This one lives in a pot of my front porch. The two red ones are on a bench in my Bible Garden.
Geranium
Petunia
These next two, are growing wild all over the property. My poor husband says every spring that the wild rose bushes are getting too big And every spring, I tell him that he can cut them after they bloom. I don’t want to miss these beautiful, fragrant flowers!
The Honeysuckle tries to take over sometimes, too. Of course, he can’t cut these vines until after they finish blooming, either!
I just love this time of year when the wild roses and the honeysuckle are blooming at the same time. I love to walk around the property looking at them. First a whiff of the wild rose, then the next step will be the honeysuckle, the next wild rose, and on and on and on. The smell is just heavenly.
