FRIDAY

Today we went shopping. It took Melissa and I about 30 minutes to stuff D’s birthday present in the van. ATTEMPT to, anyway. We FINALLY got it, but not before we got bruises! Seriously! I have a big one on my upper arm, and Mel has a couple on her knee. I bet your curious now to know exactly what we got him, that was soooo big it wouldn’t fit in the van, and gave us bruises! Ok, Ok, I’ll post a pic!

Saturday

Today was D’s 43rd birthday! Nope, that’s not a typo! He’s now 43!

We had cake (that the kids made and decorated) and ice cream with D’s parents at 2. Then he spent some time playing with his birthday present. Ok, Ok, I’ll post a pic!

Then we picked up my Mother, Kenn and Betty Sue. We went out to eat at Subway, then walked out in front and watched the Christmas parade. Small, but decent for our size town and county. The kids got a ton of candy.

Sunday

We just hung around. D played some more with his birthday present. Ok, Ok, I’ll post a pic! I worked on some scrapbooking stuff for a swap. Then last night we took our Mother with us to a Live Nativity. It was very nice. The kids really liked it. It was the 1st the 4 youngest had been to a live Nativity. D’s parents went as well, so we all stood together. Well, FIL had a chair as he can’t stand very long. Then we came home, had hot chocolate and cookies and read our Advent story by candle light and Christmas light.

Today

I have to do laundry. Some schoolwork. We’re going to be breaking shortly for Christmas. Work some more on my swap that has to go out in the mail Friday. And make at least 100 meatballs! All that along with regular housework. sigh I have to keep the house in shape, not let it get too bad, as I’ll be gone most of the day Wednesday taking Calen for his monthly clinic visit. So I have to have everything in place for MIL and the kids to get through the day. Guess I better get busy!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:16-17 NKJV
