I cancelled Calen’s Dr appt for today. It’s in the big city, 2 hours away, and the roads were just to bad to venture out. So he’s rescheduled for next week. And I have a free day, since I wasn’t planning on being home for most of the day today. Supper is “planned over” chicken, and “planned over” mashed potatoes and some veggies. So no cooking for me tonight.
So, what am I going to do with my freeday? You see where I am now, don’t you? lol I need to finish updating my project page. Then I’m going to make a crocheted rug. There was some rug yarn in the very large bag of yarn that G~ gave me. See all the yarn? 
The rug yarn is the perfect colors for rugs for the kitchen that I need so desperatly. Because I live with pigs, ya know. Pigs that think all the mud belongs in the house! sigh Nothing fancy, just good sturdy rugs that can stand up to pigs. lol No fringe or anything fancy. Who has time to straighten the fringe on the rugs?
Ok, I’m off to finish updating My Project page, and then on to the crocheting. I do need to update the farm blog, also, if there’s time.

sheesh! i’m so glad you guys could use it and wanted it! 😀
mamaw knitted/crocheted so much stuff! used to do dolly sets (dresses/hats/shoes) and little & big afghans, baby jackets & boggans & booties… and POTHOLDERS!!! 😉 after she got where big projects were just too much, she’d make potholders all through the year and give them at Christmas. 😐 hmmm. it was so strange to find them tucked here and there in the house. *sigh*

ahhh, never mind. i found the link to the GIANT picture… i see that’s something mamaw’s been working on. *smile*
is it something recognizable or not? just wondered if H or you was going to have to start w/the original concept or could go from there and make a whole ‘nother “thing” from it. i just think that’s so cool. i never could learn how to do any of that.
mamaw tried to teach me. even mom (my other grandma) tried, but i couldn’t learn it. i think my fingers were just too dang short and fat!!! no knitting fingers here. *sigh*
