This week, I tackled making new curtains for the kitchen and laundry room. Nothing fancy, but then, I’m not a fancy kind of gal. 🙂
and after….
I threw those blinds straight into the trash can! YEAH!! I’m not totally happy with the kitchen. I had visions of not being able to see the top of the curtains at all, because the grapevine swag covered it. But that didn’t work out. I like it, it’s just not what I had in mind, so will take some time getting used to. D had to make “nails” to hang the swag with. We didn’t have any real nails long enough. So he made me some, and hung it up. what a guy! 🙂
Very nice!
Wow! GREAT JOB!! :o)
I love the hearts.
Blessings!!
i love the curtians! i remember doing my curtians. its hard to get them perfect. i think yours are amazing! i think the hearts are the cutest thing ever!
i love those little grapevine hearts… i’ve always meant to ask about them. don’t tell me you made those. (i bet she will)
*sigh*
anyhow… they’re the perfect touch and the curtains are awesome!
go, you!
nope, didn’t make the hearts, although I do have some grapevine in the shed waiting for me to do something with it. 🙂
Now I have to go BUNDLE up and brave the cold to feed the animals. brrrrrrrrrr
Those curtains make a huge difference! Great job.
The curtains look very nice!

Curtains were my “tackle” today, too — but I couldn’t find the fabric I wanted yet.
Great work!
Fabric has a way of softening up a room. Nice job!
Those curtains look great!!
It’s nice that you can make your own curtains. If the kitchen ones don’t grow on you, I’m sure you’ll find a way to arrange it. Cute hearts. 🙂
