This week, I tackled getting some of our seeds planted. I still have quite a few things to start from seed, but I ran out of potting soil. 20 pounds worth! I also repotted three Lemon Button Ferns. The plan is, by spring they will be nice and big to hang on the back porch. Those big ferns are so expensive in the spring! All the other conainers, where you see just dirt, 🙂 have been planted with seeds, lavender, sage, feverfew, oregano, basil, anise, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, bell peppers, cabbage, broccoli. Lots and lots of them! I still have more cabbage to start, as well as more tomatoes, after I get more potting soil.
D helped plant a couple of trays over the weekend, as well as putting up a piece of plywood infront of the dining room window for our “greenhouse”
What a fun tackle! I can’t wait to get started with our plants.
coolio, linda! the new shelf looks great, too. (go, d! woot!) lol!
can’t wait to see the little buds start popping.. what fun!
I wish that I had a green thumb, but everything I seem to plant dies. You will have to post when they start to pop up! What fun!
